Looking for your help and donations
A BIG THANK YOU to those who contributed in August 2019. Sequoyah neighbors just made a big improvement—adding potted plants and refreshing the area at the intersection of Sequoyah Road and Heafey Road. Thank you to all who donated to this project!

Volunteers will soon finish filling more than fifty (50) potholes and divots on just one of our streets using 750 pounds of asphalt. More repairs are in the pipeline—Send in a donation today to help offset the cost of these safety improvements. Any amount is greatly appreciated! Please see our new PayPal link below to make a donation.

Please visit the "Donate Today"page to help our neighborhood.

A group of neighborhood volunteers got together to clean up the creek. This resulted in three large truckloads of debris which was later collected by the city. See images here.

Three very generous contributions—plus several others—offset the cost to hire laborers needed to help haul heavy items up from the creek bed. At least ten other neighbors showed up to collect litter
and debris. This one-and-a-half-mile creek, running parallel to Golf Links Road from Scotia to the zoo, is one of just a few critical endangered year-round Oakland creeks. Thank you!!!

Park clean-up 9:00am this Saturday, September 7, 2019
This Saturday, September 7th, join us for a clean up of our neighborhood park at Sequoyah and Oak Hill Road—Neighbors built this park 10 years ago. We'll bring the coffee, gardening gloves, and yellow vests.

Looking for volunteers to help weed, water, and clean-up the plants and general area.  We'll also have plastic bags and pick up sticks for those who'd like to pick up some litter in the area or on Mountain Blvd.
Thank you for your help!!

Fire Donations:

Because of your generosity, Sequoyah neighbor volunteers delivered four (4) truckloads of critically-needed supplies to families in need while the Camp Fire was still burning. All of your donations were greatly appreciated by those who lost their homes.
